Videos symposium and valedictorian lecture Lex Bouter online

On September 23, 2022 NRIN organized a symposium focussing on how different stakeholders can foster responsible research practices. Designed around three themes, responsibilities of institutes, funders and journals, speakers included Sabine Kleinert, Executive Editor of The Lancet, Malcolm Macleod, chair Research Ethics and Integrity Review Group, University Edinburgh, and Maura Hiney, chair of the writing committee of the European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity and Head of Post-Award and Evaluation Health Research Board, Ireland (see the orginial announcement, including program and info on speakers and talks here). Accompanying to this event was the valedictorian lecture of NRIN initiator and founder Lex Bouter, professor of Methodology and Integrity from the Amsterdam UMC and Vrije Universiteit.

The video's of the full program, including slides of each presentation, are now available through our Library in the main menu above. For our Dutch audience, VU-platform Advalvas and De Volkskrant published an interview with Lex Bouter due to his valedictorian.

We want to thank everyone that attended this event, on location and online!
