Last modified: June 14, 2018

Today the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) announces “the release of the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research, 2018 and the supporting Guide to Managing and Investigating Potential Breaches of the Code, 2018.

It presents 8 clear principles of responsible research and 29 key responsibilities for researchers and institutions. The guide sets out a model process for managing and investigating potential breaches of the code that can be applied in all research contexts in Australia—from small medical research institutions to large universities and across all research disciplines.”
