Vacancy: Junior Professorship for Information Management

The Faculty of Humanities, Berlin School of Library and Information Science, invites applications for a S-Junior Professorship for Information Management (Elsevier-HEADT Centre – Einstein-Stiftung professorship) starting with the next possible date under the condition of budgetary authorisation. Tenure track may be an option for this position.
This professorship builds on the work of the Humboldt-Elsevier Advanced Data and Text (HEADT) Centre, and on the work of the Berlin School of Library and Information Science. Information Management combines the research integrity and data management topics with an overarching program of study to prepare Humboldt-Universität students to understand a diverse range of related issues such as publishing processes in a networked digital environment. The work of this professorship will directly benefit service‐oriented information infrastructures such as libraries and computing centers that are essential for digital curation.
