Science Europe Survey Report: Research Integrity in Science Europe member organisations

Last modified: May 22, 2017

‘Whilst the ultimate responsibility for good research practice lies with the individual researcher, it will only flourish in an environment that embraces research integrity and where there is an understanding that safeguarding research integrity is a shared task.’ This report presents the results of a survey among Science Europe Member Organizations, undertaken in 2014. Interestingly it takes a more holistic approach to what research integrity is and how it can be promoted. In total the report gives a clear overview of the measures that Member Organizations are undertaking to protect and encourage research integrity. Also, it includes a long list of recommendations for the future. Special attention is given to questions about training and raising awareness.
