RetractionWatch is a blog that provides visitors with open access information about scientific corrections and retractions, with the purpose of raising public attention on scientific misconduct. Although retraction of an article does not always entail a violation of research integrity, it is, to some extend, suspicious when a scientist is high on the leaderboard. The leaderboard an unofficial list of the top 30 scientists with the most retractions. Note that all but one are men (last checked May 2017).
This page also lists the top 10 most highly cited retracted papers.
NRIN devotes a great deal of attention to the website’s content and would greatly appreciate your suggestions of documents or links you believe to belong on this website.
This selection is an incomplete convenience sample, and does not reflect NRIN’s vision or opinion. Including an item does not necessarily mean that we agree with the authors nor does it imply we think unmentioned items are of poorer quality.
Please report any suggestions, inaccuracies or nonfunctioning hyperlinks etc. that you discover. Thanks in advance!Contact
