Biography
Jeroen de Ridder is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Professor of Philosphy (by special appointment) at the University of Groningen. Until recently, he served as president of The Young Academy of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on knowledge and democracy and the responsibilities of universities.
