2nd - 5th June 2024 Where: Megaron Athens International Conference Centre (MAICC), Athens (Greece)

  • Where:

Megaron Athens International Conference Centre (MAICC), Athens (Greece)

The biennial WCRIs cater to all disciplinary fields, all professional ranks, and all career stages and involve all stakeholders in research integrity, including universities, research institutes, research funders, publishers, and governments. The conferences are lively and interactive, and the program consists of a mix of research findings, reflection and policy development. Conferences typically produce influential policy statements such as the Singapore Statement, the Hong Kong Principles, and the Cape Town Statement.

The Steneck-Mayer Lecture, inaugurated in 2022, acknowledges the invitee’s substantial contribution to the field of research integrity. In keeping with the founding principles of the WCRIs, the lecture focuses on one or more important issues that affect researchers, research institutions, and the research system at large. It is intended to be an original, insightful, creative, and inspiring contribution to the Conference.

  • Professor John Ioannidis will deliver the 2024 Steneck-Mayer Lecture, focusing on Reproducible Research: progress made across disciplines.

An impressive number of 613 abstracts have been submitted to next year's conference!
