André Krom, Ph.D is a senior lecturer at the department of Health care ethics & Health law at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC). He is a member of the Committee on Population Screening (Health Council of the Netherlands) and the subcommittee Ethical and Societal Aspects (Netherlands Commission on Genetic Modification). Since 2019 he chairs the Dutch Society for Bioethics (NVBe). Previously, he was involved in the H2020 Integrity project, focusing on developing teaching programmes and tools aiming to qualify students in responsible research and to stimulate critical awareness regarding integrity issues in research practice.
